Resized partition using Partition magic 7

Hi all,

I've just resized a partition on my main physical drive, and the OS sees the
adjacent partition as unfromatted.

I'm using Partition magic pro 7 and WinXp pro.

The partition I resized is the primary OS partition which is formatted as
NTFS, the adjacent partition is FAT32. (this has all my data on it)

Partition magic can read the FAT32 partition and all the files on it and it
has been checked for errors, with none being found.

How can I get XP to recognise the FAT32 partition again?

I can't remember if it was PM v7, but older versions have hard drive
size limitations that will cause problems (since the larger hard drives
weren't manufactured yet, they weren't supported). I had an issue with a
120 gig drive and when I contacted Powerquest (then owner of product),
they said it only supported drives to 80 gig. So I upgraded to v8 to
resolve the problem.

Partition Magic 8 (with updates) is the first version of the program that
was deemed Windows XP compatible by PowerQuest (now Symantec). Just because
a program loads and runs does not mean that it is compatible when doing such
"low level" system operations as modifying partitions and the drives file
structure. I would certainly never use it (ver 7) to work with the
partitions on any computer I repair.
