[SOLVED] Reusing pre applied thermal paste

So I got an x53 Kraken AIO and installed no proplwm but then realized that the tubes were on the wrong side so I took it off and reoriented, but since I didn't have thermal paste, I reused the pre-applied thermal paste is that fine?

Assuming the paste is fresh enough, you should be okay for the short while until you can reapply with new paste.
The system should run just fine for now, but I wouldnt leave it that way.

If some of the thermal paste stuck to the CPU along with some staying on the cooler, you could easily have gaps and doubled up areas when you realigned the cooler on the CPU.

Yes, it's fine to reuse paste that's still more or less fresh. Just make sure it's more or less evenly spread out or placed.

Agreed. Pick up some Arctic mx4 it’s relatively cheap and is decent stuff.
