[SOLVED] RGB LED on CPU coolers. What is that for?

I am a complete novice. Do they exist just to make it look beautiful? Just for that? Or do they signal higher performance?

There are loads of different models.
Some are just for illumination, some AIO cpu blocks have even LCDs on them.
Probably there are models with RGB changing depending on CPU temperature too.

If any of that interests you, then you have to look at specifications of each cpu cooler separately.
