Hello i have a GPU Msi Rtx 2060 12gb and i think my cpu is bottlenecking it my cpu is i3-8300. What Cpu would be suitable with this card with socket 1151 ?
It's difficult to say for sure without knowing more about your specific setup and what you're trying to do with your GPU. In general, a more powerful CPU can help improve performance, but there are other factors to consider as well. In terms of socket 1151, there are many different CPU options available, so it really depends on your budget and what you're looking for. Some options that might be suitable for your GPU include the Intel Core i5-8400, the Intel Core i5-8600K, and the Intel Core i7-8700. These are all 6-core CPUs that should provide good performance with the RTX 2060. Keep in mind, however, that the exact performance you'll get will depend on a variety of factors, including the rest of your system, the specific workloads you're running, and how well your system is cooled.

Well a an i7 8700k is about $80-120 on Ebay but from what I can see it would only yield a 10-15% in most games at 1080p and less at higher res. That doesn't seem worth the money to me. I would prob save up more to try and get to a 12th Series CPU and Mobo, A 12100 with a B660 would be a much bigger upgrade and give you scope to upgrade to Raptor lake later. it would cost more money but it gives a better platform, more features and a longer lifespan (you could feasibly get several years out of a 12100 and then get a 3 yr old 13600k and keep that for 2 or 3 more).
