Question RTX 2070 on Dell Precision T3500?

Hi, like you can read on the title, I have a dell t3500 workstation, I wanna know if I can put an rtx 2070 I change the psu to 1000w but I don't know if that is sufficient. The rtx don't delivery to my home. Thanks.

Since that PC supports two Quadro 5000 cards stock (150 watts each), it should support one 2070 (175 watts) even with the stock power supply.

A 1000 watt power supply is more than enough.

You probably don't have to replace the PSU - nVidia website indicates 550w recommended system power.

But, if you do replace the PSU, 1000w is overkill. A good, quality (look at the PSU tier chart) PSU of lower wattage, like 650w would be the best replacement.

does not turn on only the power LED (8 pins and 6 pins) flashes but the fan does not work and only keeping the light flashing and rgb on.
before that, the graphics card did not turn on at all, I realized that the heatsink was short with the power pins, moved the heatsink trying to eliminate the short, and turned on but does not give video. Only the power LEDs flash.

I already asked for the return, but I want to know if it is the wrong card or the PSU, or it is definitely the workstation.

Know you have probably already returned the item. My thought is it's your worstation. Nothing wrong with it. Just fact that your card will not boot with the older Legacy BIOS used by the Dell T3500. UEFI option did not start until the T3600 series.
