I just upgraded to windows 7 64 bit (still have xp on it just in case). I like and have no problems so far, so I see no need for me to upgrade to windows 8

I think that those of use who are testing Win8 should label the process "breaking wind".

Hmm, so Windows 8 will have cloud applications? I guess Microsoft wants Windows 7 to be the dominant OS for an even longer period of time than Windows XP!

[citation][nom]hannibal[/nom]The 32 bit version is mainly for corporations I think... [/citation]

Not in the server sector, otherwise 2008 R2, exchange, a few others would have a 32bit version.

Also for workstation apps there is always Windows XP Mode for the Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate user crowd.

cloud computing is the future and is already happening to some aspects of computing. the nay-sayers will eventually adapt.

[citation][nom]gomi[/nom]I don't want my files and information stored in the cloud. No windows 8 for me if thats the only way to store my data.[/citation]
unless you have some kind of uber hax0r set up, you already have files and information stored on servers owned by corporations and spammers.

Yea! Screw the cloud!! Nobody's gonna convince me otherwise that there's any real benefit to upgrading from my Quanutm Link connected C64.

And android is taking over! We're getting Infinity Blade next week for free! Apple suckers!

[citation][nom]micr0be[/nom]The only time Microsoft will make something that doesn't suck is when they start making vacuums cleaners. except i need them for games.[/citation]

Lol. In other words even their vacuum cleaners will suck because, well, they don't suck!
