[SOLVED] RX 580 using more VRAM than available.

My system specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
Radeon RX 580 8gb
Dual channel 16gb RAM

After turning on my PC and not running anything, my GPU VRAM usage was at 165%, it was a fresh boot.

Is this normal? What should I do?

No that's not normal. Is your rx 580 second hand?

No it isn't but my PC wasn't turned on for the last 3 months

It is maxed out at 8gb but doesnt show what is using it.

I see, use ddu to uninstall the drivers. Then reinstall the drivers again. 20.4.2 is recommended.
