Currently the 2rd Gen Ryzen is on a huge price cut and I want to take advantage of it (Canadian Dollars), the original price for the 2700x is $434 CAD and the 2700 is $389 CAD, currently they sell for $344 CAD and $259 CAD after the 30% Price Cut. I just got started in doing Youtube Content and my current CPU (Ryzen 2600) cannot record high bitrate (50000-70000) without the game lagging hella' hard with frames flying everywhere from 30 FPS to 2 FPS. I took some research and figured that the Ryzen 7 Series is a great option if I wanted to both Record and Play Games without having frame drops (High Quality Recording). But here I am just asking for confirmation on which one I should choose, the 2700 or the 2700x. The 3rd Gen 7 Series is out of my range so that will be a straight, "No". I am running on a RX 580 that usually produces 100+ Frames in the games I play so I should be fine in the GPU part range. The Ram is also fine having 16 GB of RAM. Remember this is HIGH BITRATE Recording, not a average streaming bitrate quality.

Solution
For high settings you will want thr highest end cpu possible.

The 2700x is faster stock, but if you oc the 2700 they are simmilar.

If you can streatch to a 3700x that is better yet.
