Hi, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an Asus B450-A and a Thermaltake 240 AIO and my temps have gone from 40-50 °C at idle and 70-80 °C while playing, to 70-80 °C idle and when I try to play games (the CPU usage is about 40%) it shoots up to 110 °C and turns off.
I already updated the bios, formatted every disk, updated every driver, and tried almost every configuration in the BIOS, the CPU is at base clock and undervolted and is set to throttle at 90 °C but it doesn't.
There is plenty of airflow because I have the PC case open.

try a repaste and press any of the pump pipes to see if there is any change in speed or temp you could use hwinfo to check this .
I already did a full rebuild of the pc and nothing improved, when I took apart the pc the thermal paste was ok, it wasn't dry or anything
I think it may be that one of the sensors is malfunctioning and is making my PC overheat

The processor is effective and durable. Despite this, it occasionally has problems. When the Ryzen 3600 becomes heated while being idle, that is a regular issue.
The Ryzen 5 3600’s temperature is dependent on the configuration of the system, just like any other processor.
for detail to get your helpful answer read here from the Techradarto

1. Are all your cores that hot? if not means your cooler isnt seated properly
2. Mb your pump died? Check if pupm is working
