hi all, getting a lil bit stuck atm trying to figure out roughly where my laptops integrated graphics fits in with everything.

speccy shows cpu details as follows:
Cores 6
Threads 12
Name AMD Ryzen 5
Specification AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics
Family F
Extended Family 17
Model 8
Extended Model 68
Stepping 1
Instructions MMX (+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, SSE4A, AMD 64, NX, AES, AVX, AVX2, FMA3
Virtualization Not supported
Hyperthreading Supported, Enabled

this would be my first laptop as normally i play with adult lego (pc towers), i am aware that the integrated graphics are pretty terrible compared to an actual gpu but im stuggling to find out approximately where it sits in retrospect regardless.

new games coming out towers of ahgasba and min gpu is recommended at the old rx580 (i used to have 7 for mining fml). just wondering if the laptop i bought for *ahem* "work "and definitely not for oldschool runescape, will be able to keep up on a semi decent medium settings ( happy to turn down a lil from medium). i know i wont be able to play on ultra high deff with ray tracing or nothing fancy but would like at least 30fps 1080p and prefer not to have gnarly shadows and spikes and dips in frames.

possible? or am i going to have to go get a gpu and then an extrenal gpu pcie slot to run this game on my laptop?

dunno if it makes too much difference bit its a asus vivobook 17" if youre wondering about hardware layouts and cooling capacities

This might be like comparing apples with pears, but:-

5500U 1612GFlops
https://cpu-benchmark.org/cpu/amd-ryzen-5-5500u/

RX580 385.9GFlops
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-580.c2938

I haven't managed to find a comparison site with both GPUs. I thought the RX580 would be faster, but it's 2017 tech and I believe the 5500U is 2020.

If you still have the RX 580, you could run Furmark or similar.
unfortunately i dont still have all my old mining cards or id already have plugged in my 6800 non xt and have no problems other than possible slight bottle neck
