Hello,
I have a problem with my laptop. I have bundespolizei Trojan and now I'm trying to remove it manualy.the access to my desktop is blocked by this virus so I'm trying to enter safe mode with command prompt. After I click on it there appears 'please select the operating system to start'. There is only one choice: Microsoft windows xp professional. After that it continues with some writing on the black screen, then just for a second a blue screen. I don't know what else to do so I can enter in cmd and type something. Can somebody please help me? Adina

Use a Win CD , change boot order in bios (F2 or del key usually) so the cd would load first. When cd is loading press R key to go to the recovery console (select your Windows instalation by usually pressing 1 and enter your password if you have one, if not just press enter and the cmd prompt that will appear!)
Type the command lines you want... :hello:

F8 for BIOS ?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

You're seeing a flashing image of a blue screen but you need to slow it down to be able to read it and post the numeric details - 0x0000?? - and the WORDS_JOINED_UP_BY_UNDESCORES back her for more advice.

To do that, tap F8 again and in the Advanced Boot Menu, select "Disable automatic restart on system failure".
