Question Samsung 980 Pro 1TB not showing in File Explorer

I installed my secondary SSD and RAM into my laptop today, and the SSD isn't showing up in File Explorer, though it is showing up in the Task Manager performance taskbar. I am good with hardware, but not with software, what is my issue? On Windows 11 (native, not updated to 11) if that helps.

Make and model of your laptop? An SKU would help us two fold. Might want to check and see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates.

Right click on the taskbar Startup button.

Ah! Yes, i cant instert an image but it says "Unallocated"

Exactly.

Right click on that Unallocated space.
It should give you the option for "New Simple Volume".
Do that.

Then, Format, and give it a drive letter.

Be sure its on the good firmware the older ones had firmware that would bonk the drive.
