Question Samsung UR59C 4k 60 hz monitor stuck at 30 hz when using Dell Dock

I'm using a Samsung UR59C monitor with a Dell dock and Dell XPS 13. Products are linked below (I've confirmed they all support 4k @ 60hz). When using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable directly between the laptop and monitor (my laptop only supports USB-c) I get 4k @ 60hz with no issues. However, using the same cable, a normal display port cable, or HDMI, I can only get 30hz using the Dell Dock.

Monitor (https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/curved/32-ur59c-curved-4k-uhd-monitor-lu32r590cwnxza/)

Dell dock (https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/wd1...plays-5-usb-ports/apd/210-azbg/pc-accessories)

Dell XPS 13 9360 laptop (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/xps-13-9360-laptop/overview)

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Using the service tags on the laptop and dock respectively, check and see if the dock has any firmware updates pending. I don't have your Service Tag code which is why I've just seen it listed generically as a series;
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/dell-wd19-130w-dock/drivers
Likewise, using your laptop's Service Tag code, see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates.

I'd also try and use another cable;

Thanks for the reply. After downloading and installing all updates, still facing the same issue. I see that the manual shows DP 1.4, but my monitor only shows 1.2 or 1.1 as options? Maybe that is the issue?
