Hi, I have recently tested a friend's 3,5" SATA HDD in my system.

To do so I had unplugged my own two SATA 3,5" HDDs (WD BLUE 1TB & WD GREEN 1TB) before as well as my SSD drive.

After done and plugging everything back into my system, always one of the two HDD is not found. So both of them basically work, but never both of them together. I am operating on a ASROCK B85M PRO4 Board https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B85M Pro4.pdf and use the SATA 0_1 connector (no 11 on page 10) for the two HDDs.

After booting, always one of them is not present in Wondows 10.

Does anyone have a hint where to look at?

Thanks

motherboard have 6 sata port.
4 at 6Gb.
Yes, correct. I am using one of the 4 6GB/s for my HDD & SSD. Meanwhile I figured out that due to my possible mischange the cables & ports, the BIOS configuration for SSD or HDD may be wrong. They can be configured to be used fpr either HDD or SSD. So I have setup everything from scratch. Still my WD Green is recognized by BIOS correctly but nowhere visible in Windows 10.
