Hey everyone,
I recently upgraded to the MSI Gaming X 1080ti 2 weeks ago now and I've been having this strange issue that has been occurring. Basically the monitor would disconnect, it would have no signal displayed on the screen and then what sounds like the GPU fans go into overdrive mode and the computer becomes very loud and the only way to fix it is a hard reset. It's happened around 6 or 7 times now over the last week it didn't happen when I first got the card and it seems to be becoming more frequent as of late. It's happened mainly editing in Premiere Pro/After Effects and just web browsing. Do you think my card is defective or is it something else maybe the power supply? I never had this issue on my old card I was using the Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980ti before that died on me. I also just ran DDU uninstaller yesterday and did a clean install of the latest driver and the issue is still occurring, could it be the newest driver update? I've listed my pc specs below thanks for everyone's help in advance!
