I want to build a server but I'm not sure if that's the way to go or not. I want to be able to access my photos, videos and movies from another computer outside my home network. I have been looking at Windows Home Server 2011 OS for the server build but I'm not sure if it will let me do what I want. I was also looking at the NAS setups to but I'm only running Windows 7 Home Prem. but looking to buy Windows 7 Ultimate soon. I don't know to much about those either, if I where able to access movies, ect. over my buddies house or while I was on vacation. What ever I do wether it's a server or NAS I just want something that's powerful and is able to do the job right the first time. Can someone please help me get started in the right direction.
