Hello,
About 2 years ago I was planning to make a computer, and I ended up buying a 1 TB samsung Evo SSD, because it was on a very good deal. Now, 2 years later, I still haven't made that computer and that SSD's price has anyway dropped, so that the deal I got it for is only $10 less than what it can be bought for now.
Anyway, since I already bought it I thought of finally building a computer and using it. Instead of selling it and buying a smaller SSD and a larger HD.
Is it a good idea to use a 1 TB SSD as your one and only storage? What drawbacks will there be compared to a hard drive?
I know that SSDs are faster, but will they perform well for a few years as the sole storage device?
