I have a 2200g( plan on upgrading to at least a 2600) and rx 570 on a b450f. I have a set of 2x4 3000mhz ram and I want to know if I should re buy another set in order to get 16gbs. If I do what should I expect?

It could work, but getting a single set of 2 x8GB would be a LOT better option if you want to be sure that the sticks will all work together. Mixing kits is a recipe for potential problems if one or more sticks decides to not play nice with the others. Even with identical kits, this happens all the time when dealing with memory kits that are outside the JEDEC standards, especially on Ryzen that is fickle about memory to start with.

See this thread for an example.
