I want to upgrade my RX 480. I'm using Ryzen 5 3600, and using my pc for gaming, I found the GPUs listed below in my local store. Any idea which one is better and why? consider (performance/price).
my PSU: EVGA 600 B1 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

  • GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 EAGLE OC 12G Graphic Card for 260$
  • MSI GAMING X GeForce RTX 4060 Ti OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 380$
edit: my monitor Asus VP228TE 21.5" 1920 x 1080 75 Hz

i cant find any AMD GPU in my local store so 3060 12gb ( i play new world , mmo games need vrams?) will be the beast offer i think right?
I almost bought an RTX 3060 12GB to play New World. It does well at 1080p as long as a good gaming experience with good quality is all you're after. (Meaning, as long as you don't expect the ultra quality at high framerates.)
That's a difficult decision for me. Nvidia does stupid things. The 4060 Ti is supposed to be the newer, better card, yet is comes with less vram and a smaller memory bus and it costs 50% more. The RTX 3070 8GB was shown to crash, stutter, lose graphics quality, etc. while trying to play a number of games at the highest quality settings at 1080p. I personally can't get with this RTX 40 series. The 3060 had more going for it than most of the RTX 30 series, only problem was it was relatively slow compared to the RX 6600/6650 XT. Most people recommend the RX 6750 XT since it has 12GB vram and cost about the same as the RX 4060 Ti 8GB with similar or better performance minus DLSS3 frame generation.
