Hello,
My partner has a Toshiba Satellite C50-B-14D (here is a link to the specs) and it often seizes up quite badly and generally runs very slowly. I recently upgraded the HDD to an SSD in my Lenovo G510 and it has massively increased in speed, but my laptop has a much stronger CPU than the Toshiba. The crux of my question is whether it is worth upgrading the Satellite in the same way, or are its CPU and RAM too weak for the SSD upgrade to be worthwhile.
My partner is just about to begin her Postgraduate Degree so the expected usage would include microsoft office and firefox (probably with quite a few tabs open), as well as the occasional video streaming.
Many thanks for any responses,
coporompadopulous
