[citation][nom]idoln95[/nom]But can it play Crysis 4?[/citation]
Considering Crysis 2's requirements, I'd say my current 5770 system will be able to play Crysis 4.

[citation][nom]carcharocles_theory[/nom]Only thing that might make me turn down this computer is the "800 watt power supply." I'm very picky with my PSU brands, and if it's a no name brand... Let's just say I'll keep my current rig over that one.[/citation]

So if you win, you'll send me this rig?

For a high-end gaming system, it's missing:

-blu ray writer
-ssd (at least 60Gb)
-2Tb sata hdd (instead of 1)
-windows ultimate 64bit (instead of home premium)
-decent gaming mouse and keyboard (like logitech and razer)

windows home premium? come on guys this baby should have windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits !!! Am I wrong here

I really hope i win this i havent had enough money to upgrade for 5 years! 🙁

I'd like to extend my congratulations to Tom's. You coaxed me into making a comment for the first time. Here goes:

I agree with Wildfox that an SSD would be nice (if not necessary) if included. The description "Nividia GTX 460 video card" suggests to me just one card yet the first picture clearly shows two cards. Could there have been a typo or was the wrong photograph supplied? Which is it? (Does my once serving as an EFL teacher show through?) I don't know enough about the power demands of the GTX 460 to know if an 800 watt PSU is wholly adequate for an SLI configuration. Is it?

Peace.

That system and I would be a mismatch. My risk-averse nature and only mild overclocks do not justify water cooling, and all those fans probably mean too much noise. A nice glow is one thing, but all the lights on that one would look out of place in my living room. I'd like to have a GTX460 in my rig (since I play Sacred 2, which uses PhysX), but I don't know that an i7/940 would be visibly faster in any of my games than my Q9450.
Fortunately, although I'd like to believe many of my comments are at least thoughtful, few qualify as witty, so I need not pheer winning this. I'm not sure what I would do if I won it, maybe sell off the case and w/c components for something quiet like an Antec P183 and rebuild it in that.

My sons would be extremely jealous if I had an Intel Core i7-940 system. And surely it would be a great upgrade from my over clocked AMD Sampron 2800+.

Well this prize actually encourage me to sign up. I am always on tomshardware. I think I am addicted to it. But now I will start to take part in the comment section. This is a nice rig. Seem well balance judging from "Building A Balanced Gaming PC" under the Tweaking & Tuning Articles.

im sorry i just got a new account on toms,
what am i supposed to comment about ?
the computer system or the commenting system ?

Wow, I feel embarrassed for posting compared to the systems others are calling old, I would take their old PC over my 5 year old Compaq Presario C500 laptop any day. lol

if I had a dollar for every website telling I have a chance to win a gaming rig I would have $3. :|

Don't know why I even try. 🙁

Awesome! Free computer. I am sad because there is only one computer that is given away.
