Question Simple question- Would one of these computers be able to handle basic tasks with their cpus?

Im looking at getting one of these 2 laptops (or any laptop around $400) for basic tasks like backing up pictures and videos from my google photos. (some photos and videos are in 4k) im also looking at just doing simple things like spreadsheets, no gaming at all. Would either of these computers be able to handle it with the ram and cpu they are equipped with?

Both would be more than capable for backing up data and basic browsing/spreadsheets etc.

The Ryzen3 is the stronger CPU, by a good margin. It's not great that it only ships with 4GB of RAM, but that's plenty capable for what you want -- and could be upgraded fairly cheaply.

The A6 is based on an extremely dated architecture and, while it could do what you want... it's not great value.

...although you get 4 gig instead of 8.....but I imagine you can upgrade to 8 if you want.

That celeron is incredibly slow by today's standards as you can see>>>.

I think that Ryzen 3 you mention should work fine for what you want to use it for.
