Hey,
I am having this interesting problem with Windows and hope you might be able to help:
I have a batch file set up to run a game at 3 am every night and do some testing.
At that time windows is in sleep mode and I get a "Failed to initialize renderer" error in the game logs as a reason for it to never run.
In the morning everything works fine, so the issue only happens while the PC/Monitor is sleeping. I don't normally turn the computer off so it is running for weeks without restarts.
If I run the file normally the issue doesn't happen. I tried manually turning off monitors but everything went well.
Any ideas what might cause this?
Does the VGA go into some sleep-like state as well?
Is there any way to wake it or something?
Thanks in advance.
