Question Small white dots on monitor

I got these small white dots on my monitor. Only visible when hovering an app or a game on screen. Not when in desktop. (check picture)

What can this be?

When you have a black background it's white. When on a white background, are the dots black? It's possible you have dead pixels. Mind sharing the specs to your build? List them like so:

is it only appearing when that icon is on the screen or is it there when you move other apps to that part of the screen... as it may just be a badly clipped icon.

All apps are showing the white dots, even games. But they are always in the same area

then it sounds like your screen has a dead/faulty pixel issue.
2 options, send it for repair or replacement under warranty.

Thanks for helping, but I'm not sure about that. Since they arent visible when I dont have any apps up.

Running wallpaper engine, so change every day

try disabling that and make a basic jpg your wallpaper...

and they still appear? then yeah faulty pixels.

a return for repair under warranty would be my advice on this.
