So, yesterday i stopped working and closed my pc properly via windows. Now my pc is getting powered but none of my devices are responding. Strangely, they get powered for example my usb fan and rgb lights got powered but the keyboard and monitors aren't showing any signs of life.

The devices are connected via usb-a, hdmi and display port cables so there is probably no problem with my motherboards usb ports.

Any ideas? Could the problem be the psu?

Specs:
Amd Ryzen 5 2600
Nvidia Asus gtx1060
HyperX fury 16gb 3200MHz
Corsair TX850M

This sounds like the motherboard isn't posting for some reason. The first thing to try is a fully cold boot - you need to unplug the power cable from the back of the PSU and leave it for a few minutes to allow everything to discharge.

Then connect it back up - I've had a similar thing happen to my Ryzen system and that corrected the issue. If that doesn't work you can then try removing one of the memory modules (also worth checking they are seated properly), also check the graphics card is seated correctly and the PCIe power cable is fully plugged in. You can also try clearing the cmos setting (there should be a jumper or button on the motherboard to do this), and try booting again.

It would be useful to know make / model of motherboard you are using.

Thanks for the reply, but didn't work in my case. I previously detached and re-installed my gpu, ram and some cables. I also tested with only one memory module as you suggested. And i also connected the pins in the cmos battery holder with a screwdriver and it did nothing.

Should i try to remove or change the cmos battery? My motherboard is Asus TUF B450M-plus. I previously wondered if there is something wrong with my psu not powering everything. Not really sure tho because its 850w and with seven years of warranty.

Hmm, tricky... the only other thing I suggest is try to get the machine to boot with a minimum set of components. Disconnect any RGB lights, remove the SSD, remove all but 1 memory module. Leave just the PSU, Motherboard, CPU, 1 Memory Module and the Graphics Card and see if you can get the machine to post (even try initially without keyboard and mouse plugged in, just the monitor). If it doesn't work try switching to the other memory module.

If none of those options work then you will need another machine to start testing components in 1 at a time.

Yeah that helped. Thank you so much for your help!!! I disconnected everything else than the keyboard and it booted since the lights on my keyboard turned on. Now I'm 100% sure it's the psu not working but gonna test it next week as well just to be sure. I have still warranty left in my psu so it should help.

But thank you dearly!
