I can play games nicely for about 2 months, as my CPU is at around 50 degrees. Suddently, all my games and browsers are lagging, and it reaches 100 degrees. We are talking 20 FPS on every game, which usually lays at around 300 FPS. If i dont touch my computer for some weeks, the problem is gone. Can anyone explain the problem, or give me some tips on how i can fix it? Thanks in advance.

I have changed the thermal paste, which didn´t work. Anyone know what the problem can be? Im not too good with computers.

Is your CPU cooled by a heat sink, or a pump/radiator? IF some sort of All-in-One pump, perhaps it has failed...

In any event, check that the pump is plugged into the correct mainboard header per the pump's owner's manual, and, that the sink or pump is locked down snugly onto the CPU's heat spreader...

(What sort of CPU/cooler are we dealing with here?)
