[SOLVED] sony ht-s100f sound from graphics card

I have a sony ht-s100f sound bar, it has bluetooth, usb, optical and HDMI(arc) input. My htpc for my living room doesn't have optical. My tv only has one HDMI port(yes it's old Skool) is there a way I could hook up the sound bar via HDMI to the graphics card? It's an AMD r9 590. The system does not have Bluetooth either. So I'm wondering if I can just do it with the HDMI way

Connect the computer to the TV, use the TV optical out to the sound bar.
