[SOLVED] Sound card running too much current into my headphones. What should I do?

My headphones are extremely loud. Currently I have them at 25% volume or so on the headphones themselves and my Windows volume is 32. Apps like Chrome have to be set even lower. In addition to the loud volume, my mic is pretty much dead. I ran through 3 headphones, all of which had the same issues. All of their mics died in a few months.
Current headphones: HyperX Cloud Stinger
Current Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 HD3P.
Would getting USB headphones prevent them from getting damaged by the current? That's what my friend suggested. My PC is 2 years old by the way and I've had these issues ever since I built the PC. What should I do?

Solution
I doubt your headphones are getting damaged by the motherboard. If you are running them at a normal volume, even an external amp with several times the power of your motherboard won't damage headphones.

However if your current headphones are not working now, then you can try USB ones. I don't usually like Razer products, but for the price these are pretty good with a USB interface https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Kraken...eywords=usb+headphones&qid=1607450408&sr=8-14

Ight, thanks mate.
I'm planning to get the Razer Kraken X USB version in a few weeks.
