After re-installing XP onto my computer the soundcard would not work.I have tried to find the right driver for my sound card but no luck so far. The main chip is SiS964 and the motherboard is an ASUS P5S800-VM/S, the sound card came with the computer and has no writing on it apart from 'made in Chin'. Iv'e searched through the SiS site and downloaded several drivers but all of them come up with the text '-536870397' snd then 'fail to install audio driver for windows XP. Setup will exit.' Can someone please help me find the driver i need?

Is it a separate card? If so, there will be a chip on that card that will have some sort of marking on it. If it's not a separate card, look to the motherboard manufacturer and their website can tell you which onboard device you have and provide drivers for it.
