Soyo beep codes

Hello,
the pc has worked fine and suddenly I get either one long beep and then the pc shuts off or if I try taking out one ram stick I get one short and then one long before shut down

Overclocking the cpu? Tried another power supply? Made any changes lately? First thing you can do is the ps; then check the heatsink and make sure it hasn't broken off.
