I'm using Thaiphoon burner to check my ram. everything seems to check out except
SPD Checksum (Bytes 00h-7Dh):242Dh (Error)
SPD Checksum (Bytes 80h-FDh):A01Ch (OK)
Like what does this mean, this is new RAM and i didnt save the boxes so i can't send it back. is there anything i can do. does it truly matter?
please don't ask me what psu or motherboard im using, im just asking about this 242Dh (Error) and what is truly signifies.
it's like calling the auto parts store asking for a tail light and they ask you what size Engine you have.

Did you have any issues with it so far? I also have an SPD Checksum error but my ram works fine. I'm kinda afraid of breaking something while trying to fix it though.
