I have my soundbar linked to my PC via a 3.5mm jack. After switching it on today, I have this buzzing that slowly gets louder and then quieter repeatedly. Only started happening today

Sound still comes through, even with the buzz. I've tried reseating the connectors on both ends with no luck. I've tried other channels on the speaker like Bluetooth, digital, they all work fine. I've also tried plugging it into a different device and that works fine too

What could it be? Not sure what to try next

Sounds like a grounding or some other jack issue on that jack on the computer. Test some other speakers or headphones on that jack and see what happens.

Well.. Using a 10m non shielded auxiliary to RCA cable could explain interference pickup, but that means the interference is coming from the PC.

But, headphones work fine. So that doesn't make sense. I have a lot of audio equipment hooked up though, a mixer, interface, all connected with balanced audio cables, unplugging all of these doesn't help. I've come to the conclusion that it could be because everything is plugged into one extension outlet from one plug socket, so I'm going to install some new plug sockets and see if that helps.
