Sql server software installation problem

Hello,
a previous program installation created pending file operations on the installation
machine. you must restart the computer before running setup is coming in windows vista home pc while installing sql server 2000

yes, i have restarted even then same problem is coming again

SQL server 2000 isn't supported on Vista, but if you Google "Vista SQL server 2000" you will find some suggestions.
