[SOLVED] SSD EXTERNAL

Hello, i'm new in the forum and i'm not very experienced; I would like to ask for some information about the increase of my pc's performance and external ssd; specifically I would like to ask if it is possible to use an EXTERNAL ssd to increase the performance of my notebook instead of mounting one to replace the old hdd.
I hope I have been clear enough.

Not really. Add additional drive space? Sure.

External drives are good for storing space suckers like video, music, pictures.

In terms of the drive, yes.

Unless you have an esata port which you can boot from, you can't use an external ssd at full speed for booting.
