Hello,
I’ve recently bought a new low(ish) end set up (i5-3570k, GTX 560, P8H61-MX) and trying to install windows to a new, larger ssd, however when I set it up and go to install the boot media (usb) the ssd is nowhere to be seen, this is the 3rd one I’ve tried with multiple sata leads and ports, I have a 120gb that works absolutely fine, but when it comes to even getting the additional to be recognised is just a no go, searched disk management and nothing there, nothing appearing in bios, and running out of ideas

any help would be greatly appreciated, TIA

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You've managed to purchase a second hand system that seems new. As for your system your specs are incomplete. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

Where did you source your installer for the OS? Age of the PSU apart from it's make and model? BIOS version for the motherboard?
