My SSD (with my OS) wont show up under SATA information in my ASUS BIOS, but it does show up under the Boot Priority and Boot Options sections. My CD drive and HDD show up in both SATA and Boot sections though. So I tried switching around the SATA cables, and the HDD and CD drives still show up fine but the SSD continues not to show up under SATA, only the Boot sections.
Can this mean that my SSD’s SATA slot is damaged (it doesnt look damaged from the naked eye though)? Or maybe it got disabled somewhere in the settings?
This problem has been driving me nuts all day yesterday so if you’ve experienced this or know how to fix it, any help would be extremely appreciated, thanks.
