Okay this is just a quick question. Just wondering if these steps will work to install OS on SSD.
  1. Install Windows on 10gb flash drive.
  2. Turn computer off and install ssd and uninstall hard drive.
  3. Boot computer and open bios, and choose the 1st boot as the flash drive.
  4. Install windows enter cd key and do custom install on the SSD.
  5. Once everything is loaded, turn computer off and reinstall the hard drive.
  6. OS will be on the SSD now and I won't have lost any data. (I can uninstall and reinstall games onto SSD if I choose to.)
I was just wondering if these steps will work, because this is my first SSD

You don't install Windows on a flash drive, you just make a boot disk using the Windows media.

If you are replacing your boot drive with this SSD you can do two things. Clone the old drive to the SSD as long as the space used on the old drive is decently less than the SSD capacity. Or just install Windows on the SSD clean, there is no need for step 1 unless by "Install Windows" you mean "make windows setup media".

Remove the old drive, plug in SSD on lowest SATA port number, boot off the Windows setup media, install Windows, install all drivers for motherboard/video card/etc.. Plug in old drive to system, copy your user files over to the new user folder C:\Users\X

There are tons of info already available on how to install an operating system clean, no need to re-invent the wheel.
