I just updated to XP from 98. I don't like the icon view in Windows
Explorer. I prefer to see file details ALL the time.

I've bee able to change to details view, but Explorer doesn't remember from
time to time. I've look in the View menu (where in 98 I was able to
standardize the view throughout the program), but I haven't found the right
setting.

Can anyone tell me where it is?

Thanks

Stephen

Hi Stephen

After you have enabled the Details view, go to Tools>Folder Options>View and
click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Restart Windows Explorer.
