Hi guys

could someone point me in the right direction please. When I start windows
xp pro it come up with the welcome screen and ask me to click on my user
account to start windows, no password just my name.

What I want if I can is to so away with this so windows just boot right into
the main screen, can I and if so how or could someone point me in the right
direction please.

I am the computer administrator in the user accounts details but it has
asp.net machine and guest account in there aswell, and I have net framework
installed which may not help but I do need this program

cheers Dave

You can use the following steps to enable automatic logon:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type: control userpasswords2 , and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, clear the "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer" check box, and then click OK.
