Hey i would say im pretty new with pc building only built 2 pcs ever!
And i wanted to treat myself to a top line pc build but trying to keep in a smaller pc then mid tower or larger case so it dont lack any of the good power & good looks!
but have it in a small build specially compared to my other build.
I would like help with everything basically have a second pair eyes of experinced builders on my build to see if everything is
right and compatible with eachother as i dont want to get something wrong as this is a very expensive build.
My Build -> PCPARTPICKER

I'm going for a full RGB Build and full overkill pc build!
I'm gonna be puting AIO sucking air in from the top.
Changing Fans of AIO to 2x "Fractal Design Aspect 12 RGB PWM 56 CFM 120mm"
I'm unsure would i run into any issues with adding different brand RGB fans?

-Does the Motherboard require a bios update as PCPARTPICKER says, This motherboard would come
with it now? Or will i need to get something else to get the bios updated like different cheaper cpu to get it working to update it?

-The AIO & GSkill Ram Clearance is SUPER close i think i saw its around 44-45mm and on the case it says has to be with top mounted radiator its (Up to 46mm RAM height)
would that be completly fine?

-Case & GPU Clearance is also close GPU at 357.6mm and case is 365 this would be fine? would it hurt the gpu being temps like that?
Also would the GPU be to close to the bottom hurt it lots?
-AIO NXZT Kraken Z53 comes with the LGA1700 mounting adapter? I think i saw somewhere where they now include them now?
-Is a 80+ Plat PSU 1000W enough should i go higher or staying at that watts fine?
-With cooling would everything run fine? or will be it too hot for this certain case?
-the GPU will probably sag and could i do anything to stop it or help it? Maybe a mount i could use near the end of the case to help.
-Will GPU fit probably? Will the fans actually breath?
-Will AIO Cooler fit on the top comeplelty fine with the new fans? I'm worried that it wont fit and because of ram or other parts.
-Will I need a full RGB Controller? if so whats good recommendations for my build?
(First time doing proper RGB in a PC Build so don't have a clue really)

-Did i pick the right cables from CableMod for my PSU?
(Gonna be the first time trying different cables in a build)
-Will the ram be fine getting 32GB (2x16GB) and then get another for 64GB in total?

Thank you any infomation will help me! (I won't be overclocking)

Solution
  1. That board won't handle that 13900K
  2. That 240 AIO won't handle that 13900K
  3. You want to go with two sticks of RAM for these Intel builds, not 4 sticks.
  4. The B760 chipset is restricted to 12 PCIe lanes which means it will gimp a second M.2 SSD
  5. I would look at the Pop Air mid tower. Same width but it give you a bit more space to work with.
  6. Look at an i7. Less heat to deal with and even then you want a 360 AIO for an unlocked i7.

I'd guess you'd have to update the BIOS on that board to accommodate the 13900K. It might be that recently manufactured versions of that board already have the update BIOS, but I don't know how you could find that out in advance.

Regardless...I'd guess most here would tell you to avoid that board if you insist on a 13900K. They'd probably point you to a Z790 or conceivably a B760.

But those apparently won't fit in your mini case. Are you wedded to that case? There are a few 700 series micro ATX boards out there.

And you might get advice to go with a 13700K to keep heat down for little performance loss.

Look for reviews of that particular liquid cooler. Maybe you already have?

Here's a few ideas.

2x16GB of RAM.

Easier case to build with.

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/KKytt6/lian-li-lancool-216-atx-mid-tower-case-lancool-216rx
Lian Li LANCOOL 216 ATX Mid Tower Case $195.00

Lian Li Lancool 216 A-RGB Controller and USB Module Black $25.00

The Z790 chipset gives you plenty of PCIe lanes (24) in order to use both of your M.2 SSD's without gimping the second one. Pair up one of those boards with any of the 13 gen i7's (13700K / 13700KF / 13700 / 13700F). I'm using this MSI board as an example.

I used the 240 artic cooler for my other pc it was good, looked nice but wanted something different trying to go full rgb. I want a pc a really bright colourful.
But thanks for your suggestions!
I redid my build with the case you showed me witch I really liked the look of.
Do you think everything is compatible?
Im thinking about switching the AIO fans over to Lian Li ST120 3pack do you think that would work fine? Or would there be better fans at cooling with good looking RGB?

Also i really appreciate the help everyone thanks!

Unless this is something you really want/need now, I would consider waiting on the 7800x3d. Seeing the 7800x3d simulated results, on techspot's review, it went toe to toe with the 13900k, in gaming, and will be significantly cheaper. It will also be much easier to cool. It would be more cost effective to get the Lian-li aio with that comes with rgb fans already. Any particular reason you chose the motherboard, that you did?

That works ... but just to let you know now .. the i7 is a whole lot easier to tame.

I changed a few things again but included 3 PC Builds
The Intel Build - PCPARTPICKER
The AMD Build - PCPARTPICKER
What would be the best option?
I'm gonna stream with this computer and some video editing but not 24/7 video editing mainly just playing games on this system.

AMD Build in the first case i picked - PCPARTPICKER
The reason i added this would the 240 AIO cool this cpu down as only 8 cores 16 threads? to save up on desk space.
I assume theres no actual temps for this to come out yet until its released date?
I'm doubtful that it will run on a 240 AIO but we will see.

Thanks for reminding that this was coming out i just checked out a video on it after you mentioned it and it does look like amazing speeds for value and keeping up with I9 13900K
but i dont know the temps it would get plus its only simulated results maybe better or worse hopefully its amazing on launch i will definitely wait probably save up for the RTX 4090 and just get that we'll I'm waiting i will probably be saving up for it after it comes out since the price of that dam gpu. :ROFLMAO:
But yeah I will wait for it and see what speeds temps are. I may see if it will run with a 240 AIO really doubtful it will though.

I changed it to that now for better temps and hopefully 360 rad can cool it.

I could be wrong but I don't think this is a good idea. Heat rises inside a case so it'd be better to have it suck cool air in from the front, or blow out hot air through the top.
Yeah I will that makes sense i will do that! Thanks!

If you plan on streaming and video editing then it's the Intel build hands down due to the E-cores. The AMD cpu will net you more FPS but at 4K the gain will be minimal. btw the board in the Intel build is twice the board as the Asrock board.

The MSI board has a Realtek 4080 audio codec. That Asrock board has the old school Realtek 897 codec. Not an issue if you plan on using a sound card such as Creative Labs. ok I see you just changed to the Gigabyte board. Make sure that board has enough PCIe lanes for dual M.2 SSD's.
Ohh no i never switched it. it was because there was 2 different amd builds and i was saying before would a 240 AIO cool a 7800x3d.
Larger AMD Build -> PCPARTPICKER
Smaller AMD Build -> PCPARTPICKER

But i probably just stick with this -> PCPARTPICKER
You think everything is comeplety fine with this build?

Also thanks for everything really appreciate it!
Thanks everyone appreciate everyone!
