Hello. My configuration is following:

Asus P4C800 revision 2.30, bios latest beta
Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor supporting HT Technology 3.00E GHz, 1M Cache, 800 MHz FSB
2x PSD1G400 RAM
hard disk: 320 GB 7200 rpm SATA
LC 420W power supply
Graphic: AH3450/DI/512MD2(LP)

Problem:

When I do a cold boot - I start computer for the first time, before this it was unplugged from electricity - the boot screen shows with AI screen and says that I can press Tab or Delete to enter BIOS and that is it.

After this first screen the comp doesn't do anything, sometimes I hear Windows 7 startup sound but the boot screen doesn't go away.

Then I push the reset button or Power button and after 3, 4 or even 7-times doing this the system goes normally after boot screen, where it shows the standard boot procedure and later on Windows 7 logo with starting up Windows 7.

I had the same problem with XP, I did a clean format and still the problem exists.

This does not happen if I restart PC, then it goes automatically on without freezing at boot screen.

There are no beeps, my temperatures are all normal, CPU 35°C, videocard 30-40°C. I checked if CPU, card and memory is properly seated on MB and it is.

I also tried with different bios settings, like changing from performance mode to standard mode, various graphic settings, changing MPC revision 1.1 to 1.4.
Rest of the setting at BIOS are at default.

I'm encountering this problem for about two months. I would be were gladly if you could help me out or give me some recommendations what to do. Thank you!
