Question Stuttering and weird slow down in game - RX 6800 XT

Dear people,

I bought a RX 6800 XT to be able to play games on 4k and have fun. Now recently i have started tweaking and trying many different things to make it work after seeing others play on 4k on Youtube. Right now i am having some weird issues which i have never had before. The games i play run smoothly and super good for like 5 second and then it kinda slows down, feels like it is trying to catch up to the actual picture and then it continues. The FPS drops from 100 to 30 or 50 and then back to 100. What can this be, i need help, do i need to upgrade something on my rig right now, i have around 500 euro to spend.

PC specs:
Windows: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Motherboard: B450 Gaming Plus Max
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Ram: 32GB 3600 MHz
Monitor: 27GN950 Monitor 120Hz cant run 144Hz because AMD doesn't have DSC only Nvidia
SSD: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB

Same problem here with driver 22.11.2, minecraft can't get above 100/200fps and all my games keep random stuttering, especially fifa is unplayable, it gets around 5/10 fps. I've tested this on my benq ex3203r and my girlfriend's LG ultragear, but i can't get it working properly.

My PC:

PSU Itek GF 750w
Storage 2xWD blue 1tb + 256 nvme ssd

If you are still having the same problem be careful when running Discord or any other overlay program. I had discord overlay and my fps kept dropping from 100 to 40 and sometimes even stayed at 40 fps.

After disabling Discord overlay everything seem to be working better and i am getting 100 fps 4k on some games. Besides that also dont use Full screen in games and go for bordered window. I dont know why but i get better fps from that.

Lastly try these settings on your AMD dashboard it has helped me boost my fps even more.

Be careful with the registry, i recommend only sticking with the AMD settings.

You could use DDU to totally remove the driver's and reinstall. Was your PC a fresh build or did you just upgrade the GPU?

I have cleaned up everything After installing the GPU and i have also tried reinstalling Windows

Ok thank you, i Always prefer running games in fullscreen Windows without borders. Thank you for the suggestions, I will give It a try tomorrow
