I have a 2013 Ford Fiesta SE sedan with the 6 speaker set up. I got it as an early graduation gift since my jeep cherokee sport recently died. I'm looking to invest into this car and want to put a sub in, but don't want it to become a crazy machine. I want bump, not rattle and neighbour annoying bass. Anyone have any recommendations to a car audio beginner?

I'm thinking of a 10inch powered/all in one that's discreet enough to hide under a seat or in the trunk, but that's the naive version of me talking, so any tips or advice are appreciated.

Also, I'd like to avoid having to replace parts (like an alternator) just for the sake of audio, so keep that for perspective when recommending subs.

I listen to everything but pop and country, so I figured 10 was tight enough for metal but loose enough for electronic.

Price range is 200 max, but cheaper with good quality is always better haha.

Appreciate the help guys.

You could probably find a nice amp and sub online like I did. I got a nice refurbrished 1000w amp for under $100 on ebay and a 12' Kenwood sub. They worked wonders together. I'm not the type to have my car rattling down the street either, i just liked nice CLEAN bass..

There are some nice all-in-one's you can get too, although I've never had one or experience with one.

Check out stuff like this

These links are to some good options and hopefully they broaden your shopping outlook. It seems you might pay more buying the all-in-ones when you can potentially "build" something better for cheaper. Just my two cents hope this helps!
