W7 PC suddenly has internet connection issues.
It is LAN hardwired via switch to router.
Another pc on LAN has no connection issues. Other wifi devices have no connection issues.

Tried rebooting pc, modem and router several times.
Ran registry, malware, spyware, virus scanner/cleaners.
Unplugged/replugged ethernet cable and mb rpc shows a yellow light at the RJ-45 port.
Uninstalled ethernet card via device manager and let W7 auto reinstall upon reboot.
Booted W7 in "safe-mode with networking" and still no dice.

Any suggestions?

Can you be more specific about "connection issues" as that could many things.

Is problem constant or intermittent?
Do you get an error message?
Is it showing cable disconnected on taskbar?
Is the problem only with internet but you can access network shares or network printers just fine?
Can you go to some websites and not others, or some applications can get internet and not others, etc?

Sorry should have been more specific.

Do you mean: Uninstalled ethernet card via device manager and let W7 auto reinstall upon reboot?

Try removing the NIC from device manager the refresh the device list to redetect it.

Do you mean: Uninstalled ethernet card via device manager and let W7 auto reinstall upon reboot? YES, but do not remove the drivers.
