Approximate Purchase Date: Can't give exact but soon.
Budget Range: Closer to $400 the better but I have no problem going above 400. 500 is the absolute life or death max, not a penny over.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: 1. Video Editing 3-5 minute AMVs in Sony Vegas.... 2. Writing novels.... 3. Gaming and internet browsing about the same, depends on if my friends are playing any games or not.
Are you buying a monitor: No
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: PC Part Picker
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
Parts Preferences: I like AMD.
Overclocking: Maybe but closer to no.
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: No way to find out, it's an old Acer from 2008 or 2009. It's a flat screen type on a stand like most of today's monitors, probably about 20 in. It looks like a wide screen but it's not as wide as other widescreens. Definitely not 1900 1080
Additional Comments:
I've gotten some posts about my $400 build not being very good. I'm looking for a $450 build. Here's my build if interested. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1FuRl
Please do not ask the resolution of my monitor. All I can say is it's lower than 1900 x 1080 and it's probably about 20 in. I have no way possible of knowing the reso until after I have a computer to plug it up to.
All I know is that I got it in 2009, maybe 2008.
