Hi all!

I haven't upgraded my PC for over 5 years or possibly more.
My actual setup is the following:

Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z97M-PLUS
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Ram: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
Hard Disk: 1TB Western Digital Blue WDC WD10EZEX-00MFCA0
SSD: Apacer AS510S 128GB (SATA (SSD))

I need an upgrade since I can't play certain games and streaming without lagging. Please help.

The GTX 980 is still serviceable. It is better than a GTX1060. The HDD should be replaced with SSDs now that you can get something like this:
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/crucial-bx500-ssd-1tb-130,38681.html
That will get you immediate benefits even if you have the old 128GB SSD for a boot drive.

But to solve your streaming and gaming problems, you will need to upgrade, CPU, Memory, Motherboard all at the same time. You'll have to name your budget for that first.

What would you suggest of CPU, Memory and Motherboard? I think to go for Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor. But I'm not sure what type of motherboard and memory would fit for this.
