So ,title ,Im looking forward to finally switching my CPU and Motherboard. Over the past few years I kept posting questions on this forum regarding the good ol' same pc .
Recently I changed the GPU and now I want to upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 5 3600 (Right now I have an i3 6098p) but my current motherboard : MSI 7996 or h110m pro d(or vd , im not sure) is not compatible with the cpu socket, AM4 ,so I want to upgrade it , I'd like to purchase a kinda cheap motherboard , a GIGABYTE A520M K DDR4, is this going to be compatible with my current components?

CPU: i3 6098p.
GPU: Rx 6600.
RAM: 1x8gb stick and 1x4gb stick.
PSU: Njoy 650 W psu(I know its not good/safe and im going to replace it in the upcoming future).
Current motherboard: h110m pro d(or pro vd).
Storage:1 HDD and 1 SSD.

Also if the Motherboard is not good , can I get some other recommandations in the same strict price range?
Also also , is it safe for me to change the motherboard at home?
Also also also,I plan on buying these componentes from CEL.ro or pcgarage.ro

Although very basic, GIGABYTE A520M K is going to be compatible with R5 3600 and so will be RAM but that combination is not good, you should get a matched pair of DDR4 at least 2x8GB at 3200MHz.
The rest should be no problem.

This would be good ram to buy for the R5 3600: https://www.pcgarage.ro/memorii/cor...ck-16gb-ddr4-3600mhz-cl18-dual-channel-kit-1/

That exact kit is listed by AMD as compatible. There are other 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX kits, but the one i linked is guaranteed by AMD to be compatible.
You can check RAM kits you're interested in against this list: https://www.amd.com/en/products/processors/ryzen-compatible-memory.html

The Gigabyte A520M K is your cheapest choice by far. If you want to buy a B550M chipset board, you could consider:

Both cost more but offer more in features. If you don't need those features, you'll be wasting money.
What kind of SSD are you using? Also, if you could explain more about what kind of device you need the motherboard to support, it would help give you advice.

Edit:The b550 motherboards are a bit out of my price range but I found this motherboard on the website , is this better than the previously mentioned one?https://www.cel.ro/placa-de-baza-msi-a520m-a-pro-socket-am4-pMiE0Nj0oNQ-l/#wait

Ok, the only major difference between the three motherboards is that the cheapest, Gigabyte has a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, while the AsRock and Asus come with a PCIe 4.0 slot.
Your RX6600 runs on a 4.0 x8 so you may lose some performance with that Gigabyte motherboard, but you would not make full use of the PCIe 4.0 x16 slots anyway. But if you added a NVMe SSD in the future, it would downgrade the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot to a x8 one, which is what your GPU is happy with anyway.

So long story short, if you can afford it and want to use a Gen4 PCIe NVMe drive in the future, go with the AsRock as it's best value. If you don't need a PCIe 4.0 slot, then go with the Gigabyte.
