I noticed my 1.5 year old PC start becoming a bit sluggish when just opening files recently, even getting to the point of 'not responding' on some simple applications. I'd never had any issues before. Today I did a fresh install of windows 10 to free up some space and see if this could fix anything and then ran a userbenchmark. These are the results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/14182951
It shows my CPU and RAM to be performing below average alongside my HDD. I have always had trouble with the HDD being at 100% and around and never really found a working fix so just dealt with it, it could be corrupt.
Specifications:
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-D2V Micro ATX LGA1151
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666
Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU: GTX 660
PSU: EVGA 430 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply
I really can't figure out why my CPU should be performing so poorly, any help to fix this would be much appreciated!
Thanks.
