toshiba tecra m3 audio device is not available in device manager

You will have to say a little bit more then that like. Did it work in the past? Is this the first time installing it? Are you sure it works? What operating system? System Specs motherboard processor? Is this a pre built or home built?

I mean come on help us help you.

Yes it used to work before,I actually reformatted the Laptop with windows XP and when i Run the sound driver it says the the required hardware is not found.

have you installed all the other drivers?
Also just verifying that you are installing the Soundmax drivers? well, trying to at least.
