I would encourage everyone to use the reporting tools on the forum to report issues and not to directly contact a moderator via external messaging/email unless they specifically request it. They might not be able to get to the issue as quickly as another mod who might be online at the time. This also creates a selective accountability where that person feels like they are the only ones to be called to correct an issue, so I don't want to create a false sense that they are always immediately available if you have outside media contact with them.

Just food for thought.

Fair enough; I just don't want to give everyone that impression that this is the course of action to take- because it isn't. I can't control the wishes of other Mods and if that is their preference, I fully respect that.

Great news! You'll have to post up your results and pics, if possible. All this time...must seem like an eternity until it arrives and you can unpack it all.

New hardware arriving is like it's own festive holiday- you get to open boxes and packages and smile in delight over the shiny new stuff you're about to play with.

Yup, reseated 3 times with the Arctic MX4. As for the kinks, you probably noticed the paper strips coiled around some parts of the tubing in the pictures. Those are placed where the tubes kink. It's a pretty cheap and effective way to remove the kinks!

It's probably my overclocking though, running the 3930k at 4.5Ghz on 1.40V. It's rock stable though. =D

Hmm alright, will scrap the idea then. Thanks!
It's OC temps, running it at 4.5GHz at 1.40V!

Thanks! Would have posted pictures if it wasn't so badly done. Didn't have a Dremel so I drilled 4 holes large enough to fit the blade of a jigsaw in and sawed the hole.

And never tidy your cables...... :p
Raven looks best there to me, but even that had messy cables/cablie ties?,
Your current one needs Moto love, and some black spraypaint on that Psu
**Put your Pci slotcovers back on too, keeps noise in and dust out

haha, i try to do the best for cable management but it's always those damned fan wires getting in the way.
I've been curious to try out a custom wiring job. Such as a power distribution block. then run the perfect length of cabling to each fan and/or device. Such as this:
http://www.marathonsp.com/
is that what everyone uses to make such tidy cases???

Twisty ties are the best! Quick and easy installation and removal! They just don't look the best...
I was on a budget for a modular PSU and Antec had the best deal with their 550W. It's just grey :sarcastic:

Nope, I use around the houses routing to use up slack, I orient the fan bodies/housings to the best position, sometimes to use the slack, sometimes to allow the full reach of the cable,
extending wires to route out of sight is another option though, not sure I would use the blocks you link, but I did wire four 80mm's together on a roofmod once, and the join was in the middle of the four,
the main tool is looking, and patience I'd say,
most folks don't go to my extremes as its too harsh, but for a cleanlooing case its always worth the effort, like when people have to ask where your cables are, or if that pic is before you wired it all up :p
